How do I choose which podcast episode to listen to?
Too many podcasts, not enough time? Paste the episode link into ChatGPodT and read its PodDrop first. The summary, key insight and timestamped key points show at a glance whether the episode appeals to you and which parts to jump to.
Is ChatGPodT the same as ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPodT (Chat + GPT + Pod) is an independent AI podcast summary service. It is not affiliated with OpenAI or ChatGPT.
Which podcasts can I summarize?
Any episode link from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, Pocket Casts, iHeart, Amazon Music, Audible, Podcast Addict, an RSS feed or a direct audio file. You can also subscribe to a show and get a PodDrop for every new episode.
How accurate is the podcast summary?
Every key point is grounded in the episode transcript and tied to the timestamp where it is said, so you can check it in seconds.
What are PodDrops?
A PodDrop is ChatGPodT's one-page podcast summary: a short summary of the episode, the key insight, up to 10 timestamped key points covering the whole episode, keywords and three leading questions. It is emailed to you and saved to your history.
What are PodChats?
A PodChat is a Q&A style conversation with your episode. Ask about the PodDrop or the transcript and get answers tied to timestamps, with the web for questions the episode does not cover. Pause and pick it up later from your history, or email it as a PDF.
How much does ChatGPodT cost?
You get 4 free credits (2 hours of audio) when you sign up. After that, buy a one-time credit pack from $0.99 or subscribe from $15 a month. See the pricing page for every plan.
What is a credit?
1 credit covers 30 minutes of podcast audio, so a 1-hour episode uses 2 credits. PodChats use credits based on how many questions you ask and how long the answers are.
Do credits expire?
Credits from one-time packs, sign-up and referrals never expire. Subscription credits refill every month on your billing date.
What happens if a PodDrop fails?
If ChatGPodT cannot finish a PodDrop, the credits are returned to your balance and you get an email explaining what happened.
Can I get a PodDrop for every new episode of a show?
Yes. Subscribe to a show from Pod Subscriptions and ChatGPodT emails you a PodDrop each time a new episode is published.
Is my history private?
Your PodDrops, PodChats and history are tied to your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which removes your PodDrops, transcripts, uploaded logo and usage history. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Does ChatGPodT replace listening to the podcast?
No. A PodDrop helps you choose which episodes to listen to and which parts to jump to. Please support the shows you enjoy by listening and subscribing.
